_Job Description Summary_
Retrieves, inspects, and prepares product to customer supplied specifications
_Essential Duties_
Operates industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load order
Pull and stages orders for shipment
Fill and Transact work orders, purchase orders and sales orders
Unload items to be stocked in warehouses and/or storage yards
Perform cycle counts
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reports any damage to supervisors
Follow standard operating procedure
Fill independent demands for material requisitions
Keeps are safe, clean, and organized
Package and stock
Ability to contribute to building a positive team spirit
Interface with Customer Service, Technical Service and delivery personnel
_Knowledge/Skills_
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10''s and 100's
Ability to apply common sense understanding to complete written or oral instructions
Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
_Experience_
Must have forklift operator certification, or be able to attain certification
_Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands_
This job involves the following physical demands: Walking, standing, bending, stretching, using hands and fingers to hold, grasp, push, and lift items
A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures can range from cool to hot and noise level can be moderate to high
Lifting requirements are generally up to 40 pounds
Job responsibilities involve occasional use of hand tools and power tools
